In our Timebreak / Slowmotion.cz studio, we recently filmed a commercial project featuring beer — and this time, we decided to reveal what goes into creating the perfect “beer pour” in super slow motion.

Each shot was designed to capture not only the precise movement of the liquid but also the sense of freshness, sparkle, and energy that beer represents. From scene setup to the final frame, it was a combination of precise planning, technical mastery, and a touch of beer poetry.

🎥 Technology That Stops Time

We filmed using the Phantom VEO 4K camera, capable of shooting up to 1000 frames per second. This allows us to show what the human eye normally cannot see — the spray of foam, the dynamics of bubbles, and the smooth flow of beer hitting the glass.

The camera movement was controlled by a robotic arm MRMC Bolt Cinebot, enabling perfect precision in motion repetition and flawless synchronization with the liquid’s movement.

Preparation and Backstage

The entire process began with careful scene styling. We brought real hop cones into the studio, which we hand-hung and arranged into the composition.

Using lights and color filters, we created an atmosphere reminiscent of a golden summer hour — warm, soft light illuminating the foam and bubbles.

The Result: Power in Simplicity

In the world of slow motion, one rule applies — the simpler the scene, the more space there is for detail. Pouring beer thus became a visual symphony — slow streams, swirling foam, and the silent explosion of bubbles.

Thanks to a slowdown of 40× the normal speed, the viewer can perceive even the finest details — the moment the liquid touches the glass, or the camera, which, thanks to the special waterproof Laowa Probe 24 mm macro lens, can literally dive below the surface.

Technical Perfection, Human Touch

Behind every shot lies the precise work of our creative team. Whether it’s beer, coffee, chocolate, or summer drinks, we always seek a balance between technology and aesthetics. Because when time stops and motion slows down, what truly matters is revealed — the emotional power of the moment.
